Nach dem Applizieren des Klebstoffs muss innerhalb der Offenzeit des Klebstoffs gefügt werden.
Die Zeit zwischen Klebstoffauftrag und Fügen des Bauteils variiert je nach verwendetem Klebstoff und liegt zwischen 3-15 Minuten. Die klebstoffspezifischen Zeiten sind den Datenblättern zu entnehmen.
Fortlaufend auftretende Belastungen auf die Klebverbindung dürfen 0,4 N/cm bei hochviskosen Klebstoffen nicht überschreiten. Für niedrigviskose und Quick-Fix Klebstoffe müssen die maximal zulässigen Belastungen anwendungsspezifisch ermittelt werden.
