Bei der Anwendung von Zinklamellenüberzügen nach dieser DBL ist DBL 8440 und dort insbesondere der Abschnitt „Werkstoffe im Festigkeitsbereich ≥ 1000 N/mm2“ zu beachten.
Von den liefernden Schraubenfirmen wird in Zusammenarbeit mit den Beschichtern erwartet, dass, bauteilbezogen, die erforderliche Mindest-Beschichtungssystem-Masse (z.B. > 30 g/m2) als Vorgabe definiert wird. Die Einhaltung dieser Vorgabe ist regelmäßig zu überprüfen.
Der Beschichter muss den Beschichtungsvorgang mit Zinklamellenbeschichtungen und den Trocknungs-und Einbrennprozess dieser Schichten, soweit möglich, durch kontinuierliche Messung der Prozessparameter verfolgen und regeln. Hierzu zählen, neben vielen anderen Parametern, z.B. Temperaturmessungen an den unterschiedlichen Prozessstellen, auch die Messung der Luftfeuchtigkeit bei den Trocknungsprozessen von Zinklamellenüberzügen auf Wasserbasis und eine Verfolgung der Viskosität der Beschichtungsflüssigkeiten durch geeignete Maßnahmen.
